Smithco was founded 45 years
ago with one product, the famous
“Red Rider” utility truck, along with
faith in the future and a lot of hard
work. It was followed by the
Smithco bunker rake, an immediate success because it was packed
with new ideas.
Every year Smithco
still comes up with new products
packed with new ideas to help
make golf maintenance easier
and more affordable. Although
today Smithco is considerably
larger and more diversified, it
continues to operate as a family
business with the values that
were important then, and are
still just as important now.
